Annotatsiya

The procedure concerning misleading advertising
is started directly by the application of a consumer
who is actually misled by particular advertising.
Apart from the consumer application, the proceeding
can be initiated as the result of the administrative
monitoring of the advertising law enforcement.
However, the most frequent and effective way
to find a deceptive fact in advertising is through
consumer application because consumers are able
to recognize deception in its infancy. Eventually,
the practice of Advertising law in Uzbekistan
still suffers from a lack of voluntary compliance
programs, which makes co-regulation very weak
and enforcement inefficient.
